Monacair was founded in 1988 by Stefano Casiraghi.
Monacair offers a wide range of services in the helicopter field:
Since 1999, the company has been Official Supplier to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince of Monaco, Albert II.
On January 1, 2016, the Monegasque Government designated Monacair as the sole operator of the regular transfer service between Nice Côte d'Azur Airport and Monaco.
Monacair has several operational bases that allow it to offer exceptional services to its passengers: Monaco - Cannes, in Annecy to serve the French and Swiss Alps, and Grimaud, in the immediate vicinity of Saint-Tropez, for private and regular flights dedicated to tourists and business travelers to all destinations on the French Riviera, Provence, Corsica and Italy.
The entire MONACAIR team has one objective: deliver high-quality service, regardless of the moment of the journey.
The MONACAIR Group has deployed a range of services to facilitate the daily life of its clients, ranging from simple transfers between two destinations to pilot training.
This quality of service is made possible by the reliability of the helicopters, whose maintenance and upkeep are managed internally in the workshops of its subsidiary Rotor Team.
It is by operating the latest generation aircraft whose comfort and materials rival the most modern that MONACAIR has been able to build customer loyalty among a demanding clientele.
Luxury-level service, exceptional responsiveness and highly secure flights have enabled Monacair and its subsidiaries Heli Sécurité and Rotor Team to gain and maintain the trust of their clients. This trust and loyalty are the keys to Héli Sécurité's sustainability.
Since January 2016, Monacair has been the official and unique Monegasque operator of the Regular Line between Monaco and Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport.
The company operates more than 40 daily flights, scheduled every 15 minutes. Based at Monaco Heliport and in all terminals of Nice Côte d'Azur Airport.
In September 2015, shortly after Monacair won the tender from the Monegasque Government, an order for six brand new single-engine H130 helicopters, equipped with enlarged luggage compartments, was placed. Delivery was received between December 2015 and the end of April 2016. These helicopters are air-conditioned and are mainly used for regular line transfers: Monaco-Nice and Nice-Monaco.
